A survey on poverty results

the answers to our survey on poverty are the following:

First and foremost, the majority of our subjects are between the age of 17-19, while the ones with 20-25 years old are less represented. This as shown in figure n.1

Based on the responses seen in figure n.2, we can say that the verdict is inconclusive because of the variety of opinions, but we can analize that people chose countries on the regions of South Asia and Africa.

People who answered the survey showed to have heard of the UNESCO organization, as seen in figure n.3

Most of our survey participants were female, as seen in figure n. 4

In figure n. 5, we can apreciate how the 22,2% of people who answered the survey have heard of the poverty issue on twitter or other.

About the authors

In this blog we will be writing about poverty issues around the world, as well as inequality, etc. But first, allow us to introduce ourselves:

J.G. Batiz- I am studying Universal Literature in the University of the Americas Puebla. I like to write and compose pieces of music based primarily on piano parts.

Sofía- My name is Sofía and I am studying Clinical Psychology and Pedagogy in University of the Americas Puebla. I am a human rights advocate, and had works together with Non profit organizations and even opened one of my own!

Kate- Hello everyone! My name is Kate Quechol Maciel. I am a student of International Relations at UDLAP. As an individual, I am deeply concerned about social problems, specially poverty. I believe that my vast experience in terms concerning organizations dedicated to social contribution are more than enough for me to have real knowledge concerning this specific topic.

Jerussa: I’m actually studying Clinic Psicology, I decided to study this career because my goal in the future us to be able to help people with mental health illness and emotional problems .
Psicology is a very importante tool in the field that we are investigating because a lot of who suffers poverty and don’t hace access to basic and essential resources tend to have sooner or later emotional problems because of the needs they had as kids and many times as adults too. Psicology can help us to work with them in many important areas of their lives to have a better quiality of life.
